In 2021, she graduated from Rudy & Kelly Academy, a Paul Mitchell partner school, in Virginia Beach. She previously owned a solo studio space where she honed her skills + gained entrepreneurial experience. Sadie also provides wedding + special occasion hair and makeup services.

Rachel obtained her cosmetology certification from the College of the Albemarle in 2003. She worked in the salon and spa industry until 2007, and then transitioned to specializing in wedding hair. Alongside her professional endeavors, she embraced the roles of wife and mother of two. In 2013, she and her husband embarked on the journey of starting their family business, Farm Dogs. Fast forward to 2021, Rachel joined the "OG" Salt Hair team, and she has been an integral part of the team ever since.
Consistency and communication are at the core of Rachel's work ethic.
As a stylist, she is dedicated to nurturing enduring relationships with her clients. This bond between stylist and client is built on trust, ensuring that Rachel can deliver their preferred style or assist them in realizing a new vision.

In 2016, she opened Salt Hair as a solo venture, aiming to create a unique environment that offered a modern approach to the traditional salon experience. After six successful years on her own with a highly loyal clientele, she began to envision expanding her business. Eager to empower others, she stepped outside the box and, in 2021, founded Salt Hair Syndicate with a vision centered on personal and professional growth, as well as community engagement.
More than half of our current staff were either former or current clients of Panda. For her, Salt Hair Syndicate is more than just a business; it’s personal, and she wants every guest to feel that way. At Salt Hair Syndicate, we want you to feel like you belong. Our salon is a creative and safe space for both clients and stylists. With a focus on continued education, our stylists are here to listen and help clients choose styles that reflect their unique personalities and fit their lifestyles.
